Ung Media Sverige är bjudna att delta i Creative Media Space, ett projekt för att skapa nya kreativa samarbeten mellan ungdomsorganisationer kopplade till media och journalistik. Du som är medlem har möjlighet att åka med när vi skickar en liten grupp till vackra Modra i Slovakien nu i september.

- VEM KAN ÅKA? Du som är 18-30 år. Medlemmar i Ung Media Sverige (eller någon av våra medlemsföreningar) har förtur. Du ska också kunna tala och skriva bra engelska.
*Du kommer själv få boka det billigaste resealternativet som passar dig och sedan ersätter arrangörerna kostnader upp till 170 Euro, förutsatt att du kan visa upp alla kvitton. Läs mer nedan under ”Financial information”.
Information about the project
The development of individual national societies as well as European one is largely related to the quality of individual media types. We, together with our partners, are aware of these facts and therefore we have the will to continually improve and look for a new creative ways of professional balanced storytelling as well as to come up with new ideas for projects that will help to increase positive society awareness. The aim of the project is to meet with members, volunteers and sympathizers of partner organisations that deal with youth journalism and to jointly exchange the acquired experience and proven practices to make our work better and more efficient.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic young media makers (students or recent graduates), young people working for non-governmental organisations focused on media, and people, who are interested in media and would like to be involved in it. We are also looking for a participants who are dealing with international projects and PR activities regarding media.
Participants of the youth exchange will:
- acquire a new knowledge of the topics on which it is important to open public dialogue and how they should be presented to the public
- jointly evaluate appropriate writing styles as well as other media tools on the basis of mutual exchange of experiences from their countries and especially organizations
- be more aware of different project grant schemes, which will enable them to participate in new interesting projects in the future
- expand the fundraising horizons that are very important for the running of each nonprofit organization
- improve in the field of PR and marketing, which are an important part of the success of every organization, especially working in the media secto
Penzión Club M.K.M is situated in the historical center of Modra. It’s really cozy and comfortable pension that offer a free using of swimming pool and sauna.
Accommodation and food are fully covered by Erasmus+ Program and is taken care of by the European Dialogue.
Participants will receive reimbursement of their travel costs up to the amount indicated below according to their country of residence (allocated by Erasmus+ grant). Sweden = 170 EUR.
Although travel costs will be reimbursed, participants will be expected to make their own travel arrangements as soon as possible after being selected.
What shall participants bring with them?
Materials about their organisations: During the youth exchange all the participants will get a chance to present their sending organisation. We encourage them to bring as much materials as possible.
Intercultural evening: Participants shall bring something typical from their place: food, drinks, traditional clothes, music and whatever they consider interesting to show
Comfortable clothes: Participants shall make sure to bring comfortable clothes. You never know what weather will be in Slovakia in September, in addiction we will be leaving close to the forest so we can make some of the activities outside.
Personal insurance: All the participants are expected to provide themselves adequate medical and travel insurance which we strongly recommend. Unfortunately it cannot be reimbursed.
Proof of travel expenses: Participants will be asked to send flight/train/bus booking confirmation/invoice to their sending organisation or directly to organisers before the event. They should make sure to keep all receipts, tickets and boarding passes, and send them together with the reimbursement form (will be sent to them in advance) to organisers via priority mailwithin one monthafter the event.If they have all required documents in electronic form (they bought e-tickets or checked-in for flight online), they will be allowed to submit all documents on the spot.
Participants will receive info-pack with programme and all important and other useful information three weeks before the training.
